DSU Men’s Track named ND College team of the Year.

The North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters have named the Dickinson State University Men’s Track and Field team the Male College Team of the Year for 2010. The Blue Hawk men finished as runner-up at the NAIA Outdoor track and field meet at Marion, IN. It was the fourth consecutive second place national finish for the program. The team had previously Won national championships in 2004, 2005, and 2006. This season marked the eighth consecutive top two national finish for the men’s program.

Sean Pickstock and Allan Ayala led the Blue Hawks at the national meet. Pickstock won the 400 (46.25) and Ayala won his third consecutive 400 Hurdle (50.64) championship.
