The Alumni Association was established in 1920 to further the spirit of unity between the successive classes and nurturing the common love for their alma mater and to aid in the development and growth of Dickinson State. Today, the Alumni Association boasts 11,000-plus members with the common goal of “friend” raising. At Dickinson State University we believe in the motto "Once a Hawk. Always a Hawk."As a DSU family member you are the backbone of our institution. Because of your involvement, we can continue our rich traditions and exceed expectations in higher education.

The Alumni Association is governed by a broad spectrum of members from across the region. They meet on a quarterly basis to conduct the business of the association and to hear an update on Dickinson State University.
