Annual Giving
Annual Giving is the amount a donor gives between July 1 of a year to June 30 of the next year. This is the fiscal year of the Dickinson State University Foundation. Each donor is a very important part of the Dickinson State University Family.

- The 1918 Society is named in honor of the first year classes were held at Dickinson State.
The Stickney Society is named in honor of the first building constructed on the Dickinson State campus.
The Klinefelter Society is named in honor of the first registrar and business manager, Maude Klinefelter.
The Wienbergen Society is named after long time coach, athletic director, instructor, Harry Wienbergen.
The Scott Society is named in honor of the longest serving president of Dickinson State, Charles E. Scott.
The May Society is named in honor of the first president of Dickinson State, Samuel T. May.
The Travers Society is named in honor of the first donor to reach this level, Alyce B. Travers.
The Strom Society is named in honor of the first donor to reach this level, Jerome and Rosie Ann Strom.
The Thorson Society is named in honor of the first donor to reach this level, Harvey Thorson.
